WITHEY ADDISON LLP HISTORY
In 1970 Dick Withey founded the firm after a career as Chief Financial
Officer of Canada's largest food service complex and a large construction
company. In 1972 Cliff Addison joined the firm after holding senior
positions with a major industrial manufacturer and a national accounting
firm. The firm began to grow and experienced immediate success by
providing outstanding service to a growing client base. In 1990
as part of the firm’s long-term expansion and acquisition
plans, an office was established in Kingston to service the Eastern
Ontario markets.
Over the years there were additions to the firm that strengthened
and expanded the areas of expertise. Today the firm includes tax
specialists, certified financial planners, trust and estate practitioners,
certified fraud examiners and individuals with a wide variety of
business consulting experience.
Withey Addison’s focus is providing owner-managed businesses and professionals with accounting, tax and business consulting services with a view to maximizing business performance while minimizing taxes and protecting accumulated wealth.
